• Is the message indicating “SBS, MRCC, DRCC Radar blocked” displayed in the LCD in the instrument cluster?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Go to Step 3.

|
VERIFY AREA AROUND RADAR SENSOR
• Visually inspect the surface of the radar sensor or front bumper.
• Any of the following conditions:

Yes
|
• Clean and remove foreign matter from the radar sensors and surface of the front bumper (reflecting object), and verify the indication in the LCD.
“SBS, MRCC, DRCC Radar blocked” is not displayed
• System is normal.
(Mis-operation due to soiling or foreign matter (reflecting object) on radar sensors or front bumper surface.)
“SBS, MRCC, DRCC Radar blocked” is displayed
• Replace the radar sensor.

Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY RADAR SENSOR BRACKET
• Verify that there is no bending or damage on the radar sensor bracket.
• Is there bending or damage on the radar sensor bracket?

Yes
|
Replace the radar sensor bracket and perform the aiming adjustment.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

PERFORM RADAR SENSOR AIMING ADJUSTMENT
• Perform the radar sensor aiming adjustment.
• Perform the DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
• Is DTC C1A67:54 displayed?

Yes

Perform inspection for DTC C1A67:54
|
No
|
• A temporary system malfunction can be considered.
• Refer to the possible malfunctions and explain to the customer that there is no malfunction.
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the radar sensor.
