Purpose, Function

•  The wrench indicator light illumination is indicated together with a message in the TFT LCD when the engine oil replacement period is reached.

Construction

•  The wrench indicator light is built into the instrument cluster.

Operation

•  The message display conditions related to the wrench indicator light are as follows:

“Oil change Due”

―  PCM determines engine oil replacement period reached. (See ENGINE OIL MAINTENANCE MONITOR [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

•  The PCM sends a message indication request to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
