Purpose, Function
Vehicles with TFT LCD
• If the accumulated water level in the sedimentor exceeds a certain level, the wrench indicator light and a message in the TFT LCD are displayed simultaneously to inform the driver that draining of the sedimentor is required.
Vehicles without TFT LCD
• If the accumulated water level in the sedimentor exceeds a certain level, the wrench indicator light illuminates to inform the driver that draining of the sedimentor is required.
European specs.
• The wrench indicator light illumination is indicated together with a message in the TFT LCD when the engine oil replacement period is reached.
Construction
• The wrench indicator light is built into the instrument cluster.
Operation
Vehicles with TFT LCD

• The message display conditions related to the wrench indicator light are as follows:
“Drain Water from Fuel Filter” display condition”

― Water level in sedimentor is certain level or more
“Oil change Due”

• The PCM sends a message indication request to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
Vehicles without TFT LCD

• The wrench indicator light illumination conditions are as follows:

― Ignition switch ON (turns off after several second)
― Water level in sedimentor is certain level or more
Wrench indicator light flash conditions

• The PCM sends a wrench indicator light illumination or flash request to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
