DETECTION CONDITION		•  U0001:88 ―  Open or short circuit in CAN system wiring harness is detected. •  U0100:00 ―  Communication error with PCM is detected in CAN communication. •  U0101:00 ―  Communication error with TCM is detected in CAN communication. •  U0104:00 ―  Communication error with MRCC CM is detected in CAN communication. •  U0131:00 ―  Communication error with EPS CM is detected in CAN communication. •  U0154:00 ―  Communication error with SAS control module is detected in CAN communication. •  U0155:00 ―  Communication error with instrument cluster is detected in CAN communication. •  U0214:00 ―  Communication error with start stop unit is detected in CAN communication. •  U0235:00 ―  Communication error with laser sensor is detected in CAN communication.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION		•  U0001:88 ―  Illuminates the ABS warning light, TCS/DSC indicator light, and master warning light*1. ―  Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes*2. ―  Inhibits the ABS, brake assist, TCS, Hill Launch Assist (HLA)*2, vehicle roll prevention function*2, DSC, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2, Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2, Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*2, and TPMS*2 controls. •  U0100:00 ―  Illuminates the ABS warning light*3, TCS/DSC indicator light*3, and master warning light*1*3. ―  Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes*2*3. ―  Inhibits the ABS*4, brake assist*4, TCS*4, Hill Launch Assist (HLA)*2*4, vehicle roll prevention function*2*4, DSC*4, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2*4, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2*4, Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2*4, Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*2*4, and TPMS*2*4 controls. •  U0101:00 ―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light and master warning light*1. ―  Inhibits the TCS, Hill Launch Assist (HLA), vehicle roll prevention function*2, DSC, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2, Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2, and Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*2 controls. •  U0104:00 ―  Illuminates the master warning light*1. ―  Inhibits the Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2 and Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2 controls. •  U0131:00 ―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light and master warning light*1. ―  Inhibits the TCS, DSC, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2, Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2, and Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*2 controls. •  U0154:00 ―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light*1. ―  Inhibits the Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*2 control. •  U0155:00 ―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light*3, and master warning light*1*3. ―  Inhibits the Hill Launch Assist (HLA)*4, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2*4, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*2*4, and Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2*4 controls. •  U0214:00 ―  Does not illuminate each warning/indicator light*1. ―  Inhibits the Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*2 control. •  U0235:00 ―  Illuminates the master warning light*1. ―  Inhibits the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*2 control. *1: Vehicles with Smart City Brake Support (SCBS), Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) and/or Smart Brake Support (SBS). *2: If equipped. *3: Not illuminated depending on malfunction content. *4: Control enabled depending on malfunction content.
