Continuity Inspection

Note
•  The up switch is built into the selector lever component.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the front console. (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

4.  Verify that the continuity between selector lever component terminals C and J.

•  If not as verified, replace the selector lever component. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
