―  Malfunction detected in resolver sensor internal circuit
•  C200D:64
―  Signal error detected in resolver sensor signal
•  U2011:19, U2011:1C, U2011:18, U2011:61, U2011:62,U2011:64, U2011:72
―  Malfunction detected in EPS motor internal circuit
•  U2011:72
―  When phase 1 open circuit malfunction is detected in the EPS motor, internal circuit current was lower than specification during backup control.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
•  C200D:1C, C200D:64, U2011:18, U2011:19, U2011:1C, U2011:61: U2011:62, U2011:64
―  Control disabled
―  Power steering malfunction indicator light: Illuminated
•  U2011:72
―  Phase 1 open circuit malfunction is detected in the EPS motor
•  Control is maintained in the backup control
―  Other malfunction detected in EPS motor internal circuit
•  Control disabled
―  Power steering malfunction indicator light: Illuminated
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Steering column internal malfunction
•  EPS motor malfunction

•  Clear the DTC from the memory.
•  Verify if any DTCs are displayed.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the EPS CM (EPS motor).
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
•  Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
