METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the driver-side decoration panel. (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the upper column cover (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Take the shaded area shown in the figure, and remove the meter hood in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2), (3) while detaching the clips A, pins B, clips C.

5.  Disconnect the start switch connector

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
