TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See REAR SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Press the tab A as shown in the figure using tape-wrapped flathead screwdrivers, and remove the tab A.

4.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into shown in the figure and remove tab B in the direction of arrow (2).

5.  Remove the shopping hook in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure.

6.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into shown in the figure and remove hooks C in the direction of arrow (4).

7.  Remove the cover D in the direction of the arrow (5) shown in the figure.

8.  Remove screws E.

9.  Remove the cover F in the direction of arrow (6) shown in the figure.

10.  Remove bolt G

11.  Remove the cover I in the direction of arrow (7) shown in the figure while detaching clips H.

12.  Set the rear seat belt aside.

13.  Pull the trunk side upper trim in the direction of the arrow in the order of (8), (9), (10) and remove it while detaching clips J.

14.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
