Note

•  For the fuel gauge sender unit removal/installation, refer to the fuel pump removal/installation because the fuel gauge sender unit is integrated with the fuel pump. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

1.  Verify that the resistance at fuel gauge sender unit terminals D and C is as indicated in the table according to the height of the float.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the fuel gauge sender unit.

SKYACTIV-D 2.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fuel gauge sender unit. (See FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Verify that the resistance at fuel gauge sender unit terminals A and C is as indicated in the table according to the height of the float.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the fuel gauge sender unit.
