Pre-Delivery Inspection Table
Exterior
INSPECT and ADJUST, if necessary, the following items to specification:
qGlass, exterior bright metal and paint for damage
qWheel lug nuts
qAll weatherstrips for damage or detachment
qAdjust tire pressures to specification

• Adjust the tire pressures when the tire are cool.
• Specified pressure is indicated on the door label.

qAfter adjusting the tire pressures, switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and long-press the tire pressure monitoring system set switch until the tire pressure warning light flashes two times and the buzzer sounds one time (with tire pressure monitoring system switch).
Indicated that long-pressing of the tire pressure monitoring system set switch was implemented

qBrake and clutch fluid level
qWindshield washer reservoir fluid level
qRadiator coolant level and specific gravity
qTightness of water hose clamps
qTightness of battery terminals, electrolyte level and specific gravity
Interior
INSTALL the following items:
qFuse for accessories
INSPECT the operations of the following items:
qSeat controls (slide and recline) and headrests
qFolding rear seat
qDoor locks, including childproof door locks
qSeat belts and warning system
qIgnition switch and steering lock
qTransmission/Transaxle range switch
qWarning buzzers
qWarning lights
qIgnition key reminder alarm
qAir bag system using warning light
qCruise control system (if equipped)
qPower door lock
qShift-lock system (if equipped)
qStarter interlock
qAll lights including warning, and indicator lights
qHorn, wipers, and washers
qWiper blades performance
Clean wiper blades and windshield, if necessary
qCigarette lighter and clock
qPower windows (if equipped)
qHeater, defroster, and air conditioner at various mode selections (if equipped)
INSPECT the following items:
qPresence of spare fuse
qUpholstery and interior finish
INSPECT and ADJUST, if necessary, the following items:
qOperation and fit of windows
qPedal height and free play of brake and clutch pedals
qParking brake
Under bonnet—engine running at operating temperature
INSPECT the following items:
qAutomatic transmission/Transaxle fluid level
qOperation of idle-up system for electrical load, air conditioner or power steering (if equipped)
qOperation of throttle position sensor (When inspecting for wiring harness and connector poor connection)
On hoist
INSPECT the following items:
qManual transmission/Transaxle oil level
qUnderside fuel, coolant and hydraulic lines, fittings, connections, and components for leaks
qTires for cuts or bruises
qSteering linkage, suspension, exhaust system, and all underside hardware for looseness or damage
qDifferential oil level
Road test
INSPECT the following items:
qBrake operation
qClutch operation
qSteering control
qOperation of gauges
qSqueaks, rattles, and unusual noises
qEngine general performance
qEmergency locking retractors and automatic locking retractors
qCruise control system (if equipped)
qOperation of meters and gauges, squeaks, rattles, and abnormal noises
After road test
INSPECT for necessary owner information materials, tools, and spare tire in vehicle
The following items must be completed just before delivery to your customer.
qLoad test battery and charge if necessary (Load test result: Volts)
qAdjust tire pressures to specification
• Adjust the tire pressures when the tire are cool.
