ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL

Note

•  The electric parking brake control module records the vehicle specification information and the electric parking brake operation/release condition.

•  A new electric parking brake control module has not record of the vehicle specification information and the electric parking brake operation/release condition.

1.  Switch the ignition ON (engine off).

2.  Release the electric parking brake.

3.  Switch the ignition off.

4.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear vent duct No.2 (See REAR VENT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the bolt.

6.  Remove the electric parking brake control module bracket No.1.

7.  Disconnect the electric parking brake control module connector.

8.  Remove the nuts.

9.  Remove the electric parking brake control module.
