PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the PAD switch. (See PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the PAD switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the PAD switch.
