THEFT-DETERRENT HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull back the trunk side upper trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the theft-deterrent horn. (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Pull back the trunk side trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the theft-deterrent horn. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Disconnect the connector.

6.  Remove the bolt.

7.  Remove the theft-deterrent horn.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Trunk side pocket (RH) (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull back the trunk side trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the theft-deterrent horn. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the bolt.

6.  Remove the theft-deterrent horn.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
