SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Selector lever knob (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the clip.

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2) while detaching hooks.

6.  Remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure. while detaching guides A, guides B.

7.  While pressing the tab in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press it up in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the tabs from the shift panel.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Shift lever knob (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [D66M-R, D66MX-R].)

3.  Remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2) while detaching hooks.

4.  Remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure. while detaching guides A, guides B.

5.  While pressing the tab in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press it up in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the tabs from the shift panel.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
