LANE-KEEP ASSIST SYSTEM SWITCH INSPECTION

•  The lane-keep assist system switch is integrated with the cluster switch.

Switch inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the Lane-keep assist system switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the resistance between Lane-keep assist system switches B and C is as indicated in the table.

•  If the resistance cannot be verified as indicated in the table, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)


LED illumination inspection

1.  Apply battery positive voltage to Lane-keep assist system switch terminal J, and connect terminal I to ground.

2.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
