1.  Remove the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch. (See SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT (SCBS) OFF SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Verify that the resistance between the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch terminals B and C is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch.

3.  Apply battery voltage to Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch terminal J, and connect terminal I to ground.

4.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch.
