DTC P2452:00

Exhaust gas pressure sensor circuit malfunction

DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM monitors the pressure by the exhaust gas pressure sensor circuit voltage. If the differential pressure is –5 kPa {–0.05 kgf/cm2, –0.7 psi} or more than 5 kPa {0.05 kgf/cm2, 0.7 psi}, the PCM determines that there is a exhaust gas pressure sensor circuit malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
•  The MIL does not illuminate.
•  The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  Exhaust gas pressure sensor connector or terminal malfunction
•  Exhaust gas pressure sensor malfunction
•  PCM connector or terminal malfunction
•  PCM malfunction
