DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2]

1.  Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Set the front mudguard (RH) out of the way. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the splash shield (RH).

4.  Move the drive belt auto tensioner to the end in the direction shown in the figure, then insert the bolt to secure it.

Caution

•  Use the following bolt to prevent incorrect installation.

Size : M6

Shape of the tip : Unpointed end or flat point

Bolt stem length : 40—55 mm {1.6—2.1 in}

5.  Remove the drive belt.

6.  Install the drive belt.

7.  Remove the bolt inserted to the drive belt auto tensioner.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
