1.  Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

1	Wheel hub component (See Wheel Hub Component Disassembly Note.) (See Wheel Hub Component Assembly Note.)
2	Retaining clip
3	Wheel bearing (See Wheel Bearing Disassembly Note.) (See Wheel Bearing Assembly Note.)
4	Dust Cover (See Dust Cover Disassembly Note.) (See Dust Cover Assembly Note.)
5	Steering knuckle
6	Hub bolt (See Wheel Hub Bolt Disassembly Note.) (See Wheel Hub Bolt Assembly Note.)

2.  Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Wheel Hub Component Disassembly Note

1.  Remove the wheel hub component using the SSTs.

2.  If the bearing inner race remains on the front wheel hub component, perform the following procedure.

3.  Grind a section of the bearing inner race until approx. 0.5 mm {0.02 in} remains.

4.  Remove the bearing inner race using a chisel.

Wheel Bearing Disassembly Note

1.  Remove the wheel bearing using the SSTs.

Dust Cover Disassembly Note

Note

•  The dust cover does not need to be removed unless it is being replaced.

1.  Mark the dust cover and steering knuckle for proper installation.

2.  Remove the dust cover using a chisel.

Wheel Hub Bolt Disassembly Note

Note

•  The hub bolts do not need to be removed unless they are being replaced.

1.  Remove the hub bolt using a press.

Wheel Hub Bolt Assembly Note

1.  Install the new hub bolt using a press.

Dust Cover Assembly Note

1.  Mark the new dust cover in the same way as the removed one.

2.  Align the marks of the new dust cover and the knuckle.

3.  Install the new dust cover using the SSTs.

Wheel Bearing Assembly Note

Note

•  Install the wheel bearing with the ABS encoder (identification color: pink or blue (L8, LF, L5), pink (MZR-CD (RF turbo), MZR-CD 2.2)) facing inside of the vehicle.

1.  Install the new wheel bearing using the SSTs.

Wheel Hub Component Assembly Note

1.  Install the steering knuckle to the wheel hub component using the SSTs.
