MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D.]

Caution

•  When removing/installing the master cylinder, avoid touching the primary piston with your hand when not necessary. Otherwise, it could damage the master cylinder.

1.  Remove the engine cover. (MZR-CD 2.2) (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.  Disconnect the vacuum hose from the clip. (MZR-CD 2.2)

3.  Remove the installation nut from the cooler hose (LO) bracket and set the cooler hose (LO) aside.

4.  Remove the insulator. (L5)

5.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.  Add brake fluid, bleed the brakes, and inspect for leakage after the installation has been completed. (See AIR BLEEDING.)
