• When electrical capacity value does not change, the touch sensor detects electrical capacity value A.

― Electrical capacity value A is determined by the distance between the outer handle and door.
Operation when electrical capacity value changes
• When a hand is between the outer handle and vehicle, the distance between them is shortened and the electrical capacity changes from A to B. The touch sensor detects the change and sends a signal to the keyless control module.

• To enable door lock verification, the doors cannot be unlocked using the touch sensor for 3 s after they are locked.
