INBOARD LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the recess. (4SD) (See RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the trunk lid trim. (4SD) (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the liftgate upper trim. (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Remove the liftgate side trim. (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Remove the liftgate lower trim. (5HB, WGN) (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Inboard Light Installation Note
1. Insert the inboard light into the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure, then pivot it inward and fix in place.

2. Push the bracket onto the trunk lid (liftgate) as shown in the figure and install.
