Note

•  Configuration is necessary when replacing the rear vehicle monitoring control module (RH).Configuration is not necessary when replacing the rear vehicle monitoring control module (LH).

Note

•  Use the IDS (laptop PC) because the PDS (Pocket PC) does not support the REAR VEHICLE MONITORING CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  After vehicle identification, the following can be selected from the M-MDS initialization screen.

1.  Select “Module Programming”

3.  Then, select the following from the screen menu.

1.  Select “Configuration/PMI”

2.  Select “RVM”

4.  Perform the configuration following the instructions on the screen.

5.  Verify that no DTCs are stored. (See DTC TABLE [REAR VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEM].)
