PARKING SENSOR BUZZER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Removal

4SD

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Disconnect the parking sensor buzzer connector.

3.  Squeeze the cover tabs as shown in the figure.

4.  Remove the cover and the parking sensor buzzer from the rear package member as a single unit.

5.  Squeeze the parking sensor buzzer tabs as shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the parking sensor buzzer from the cover.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the cover.

3.  Disconnect the parking sensor buzzer connector.

4.  Squeeze the parking sensor buzzer tabs as shown in the figure.

5.  Remove the parking sensor buzzer from the liftgate.

WGN

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the liftgate side trim. (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the recess. (See RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the liftgate lower trim. (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Disconnect the parking sensor buzzer connector.

7.  Squeeze the parking sensor buzzer tabs as shown in the figure.

8.  Remove the parking sensor buzzer from the liftgate.

Installation

1.  Install the buzzer within a 45-degree angle to the left and right from the center of the connector.

2.  Connect the connector.

3.  Hook the two tabs positioned on the rear of the buzzer to the rear package tray and install the remaining tabs to the rear package tray in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

5HB, WGN

1.  Connect the buzzer to the connector, then install the buzzer to the liftgate.
