Removal Procedure

Caution

•  Remove the curtain air bag module to prevent damage before servicing.

1.  Rough cut area locations indicated by (A) then drill the 77 locations indicated by (B) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  During rough cutting, be careful not to damage the roof rail reinforcement and side sill reinforcement.

2.  Remove the center pillar (outer).

3.  Drill the 19 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

4.  Remove the B-pillar reinforcement.

5.  Rough cut area locations indicated by (D) then drill the 6 locations indicated by (E) shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the weld bond using a chisel and remove the B-pillar (inner) shown in the figure.

7.  Remove the B-pillar (inner).
