STEERING SHIFT SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Remove the engine cover.

2.  Remove the battery cover.

3.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4.  Disconnect the audio control switch connector. (See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Measure resistance between the terminals F and C.

•  Replace the audio control switch.

•  If not within the specification, replace the audio control switch.
•  If there is no continuity, replace the up switch.

•  Replace the audio control switch.
