Operation

Seat position detection function

•  The position memory control module tracks the position of the motor (seat) by counting the pulse signals from the position sensor attached to each motor.

Seat position storage function

•  The position memory control module stores up to three seat positions.
•  It also recognizes and memorizes the seat positions corresponding to each transmitter.
•  Follow the procedure below to save the seat positions.
Seat position switch
1.  Operate the switch of Slide, Front tilt, Rear tilt or Recliner to get the seat to move to the desired position.
2.  Push the SET switch while push the memory switch 1,2 or 3.
3.  The buzzer of meter sounds as the seat position is saved.
Note
•  Following four conditions are all required for storage operation
―  Memory playback function is inactive
―  Manual operation is inactive
―  Walk-in operation is inactive
―  The vehicle is at rest (or moving at the speed of less than 2 km/h {1 mph})
•  If a new position is input into the memory switch and the switch already has one or more, the old memory will be replaced with the new one.
•  All the memories will be deleted 5 seconds after the battery negative cable is disconnected.

Memory playback function (memory switch)

•  The memory replays and the seat moves to the designated position with the operation of the memory switch.
Memory playback
•  If the following conditions are met, memory playback function will remain active as long as the memory switch is held down.
―  One or more seat positions have been stored
―  The SET switch is off
―  The vehicle is at rest (or moving at the speed of less than 2 km/h {1 mph})
Note
•  If any of the following conditions occurs, the memory playback operation will be discontinued.
―  The memory switch operation is discontinued while the memory playback function is active.
―  A memory switch other then the one that is active is manipulated
―  The SET switch is manipulated while the memory playback function is in operation
―  The walk-in switch is manipulated while the memory playback function is in operation
―  The power seat switch is manipulated while the memory playback function is in operation
―  The vehicle is at rest (or moving at the speed of greater than 2 km/h {1 mph})
