Walk-in movement
• Keep pushing the upper side of the walk-in switch until the movement stops.
1. After the slide motor moves forward, the recliner motor gets activated to tilt the front seat forward.
2. Both the slide motor and recliner motor move up to the position stored in the position memory control module. Then the meter buzzer sounds to stop it.
Note
• When any of the following situations had occurred before the walk-in function became active, the module stores the current position as the walk-in return point.
― The ignition switch was turned on
― The power seat switch was manipulated
― Operation by position memory was done
― Walk-in return movement was completed
― The vehicle was moving (at the speed of greater than 2 km/h {1 mph})
Walk-in return movement
• Keep pushing the lower side of the walk-in switch until the movement stops.
1. After the slide motor moves backward, the recliner motor gets activated to tilt the front seat backward.
2. Both the slide motor and recliner motor move up to the return position stored in the position memory control module. Then the meter buzzer sounds to stop it.
3. When the lower side of the switch is held down long once again with the walk-in return movement uncompleted, the seat will keep moving until it reaches the return point that is stored in the position memory control module.
Note
• If any of the following conditions is met during the walk-in return movement, the movement will be cancelled.
― The operation of walk-in switch is discontinued
― The position memory switch or memory switch is manipulated
― The power seat switch is manipulated
― “None pulse” sign is detected
― The return and forward tilting positions stored in the position memory control unit are detected
― Emergency halt sign is detected
― The vehicle is moving (at the speed of greater than 2 km/h {1 mph})
