• Three-point seat belt with the following functions for front seat passengers adopted

– ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor: emergency locking mechanism)

– Pre-tensioner (See PRE-TENSIONER SEAT BELT CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.)

– Load limiter, which adjusts restraint force of the seat belt to reduce the possibility of injury to passengers caused by excess seat belt pressure after pre-tensioner operation

– Seat belt lock release, which releases the lock on the front seat belt when the rear door is opened to prevent interference.
