KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

L.H.D.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Remove the bolts.

4. Remove the connector clip installed to the bracket by shifting the keyless receiver downward.

5. Disconnect the keyless receiver connector.

Note

• The screw which fixes the keyless receiver and bracket is for a body ground connection. Be sure to secure the screw when installing.

6. Push the stopper in with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

R.H.D.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:

• Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

• Center panel module (See CENTER PANEL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

• Center ventilator grille (See Center.)

• LCD unit (See LCD UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Remove the nut and pull the keyless receiver outward.

4. Disconnect the keyless receiver connector.

5. Remove the screw.

Note

• The screw which fixes the keyless receiver and bracket is for a body ground connection. Be sure to secure the screw when installing.

6. Push the stopper in with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
