DTC P0443[AJ (3.0L Duratec)]
id0102a4807600
DTC P0443 |
Purge solenoid valve control circuit malfunction |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors that the purge solenoid valve control circuit signal at PCM terminal 56. If the PCM detects that the signal moves outside minimum or maximum allowance calibrated parameters for specified purge duty cycle by PCM commanded, the PCM determines that the purge solenoid valve control circuit malfunction.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Open circuit in wiring between purge solenoid valve terminal A and main relay terminal B
• Short to ground in purge solenoid valve terminal B and PCM terminal 56
• Damaged purge solenoid valve
• Open circuit in wiring between purge solenoid valve terminal B and PCM terminal 56
• Short to power supply circuit in wiring between purge solenoid valve terminal B and PCM terminal 56
• Damaged PCM
