DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The DTC stored in continuous memory if any of the OBD monitors do not complete.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Vehicle is new from factory
• Battery or PCM had recently been disconnected
• DTCs have been cleared with M-MDS
|

• Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?

Yes
|
Go to next step.

No
|
Record FREEZE FRAME DATA on repair order, then go to next step.

VERIFY RELATED SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
• Check for related Service Information and/or on-line Service Information availability.
• Is any related Service Information available?

Yes
|
Perform repair or diagnosis according to available Service Information.
• If vehicle is not repaired, go to next step.
|
No
|
Perform the Drive mode procedure.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1000 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine OFF).
• Clear DTC from PCM memory using M-MDS.
• Start engine and warm up it completely.
• Is same DTC present?

Yes

Replace PCM, then go to next step.

No
|
Go to next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
• Perform "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE".
• Are any DTCs present?

Yes
|
Go to applicable DTC inspection.

|
Troubleshooting completed.
