OBD system readness test not complete

DETECTION CONDITION

•  The DTC stored in continuous memory if any of the OBD monitors do not complete.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

•  Vehicle is new from factory

•  Battery or PCM had recently been disconnected

•  DTCs have been cleared with M-MDS

Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY FREEZE FRAME DATA HAS BEEN RECORDED • Has FREEZE FRAME DATA been recorded?	Yes	Go to next step.
1		No	Record FREEZE FRAME DATA on repair order, then go to next step.
2	VERIFY RELATED SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY • Check for related Service Information and/or on-line Service Information availability. • Is any related Service Information available?	Yes	Perform repair or diagnosis according to available Service Information. • If vehicle is not repaired, go to next step.
2		No	Perform the Drive mode procedure.
3	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1000 COMPLETED • Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. • Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Engine OFF). • Clear DTC from PCM memory using M-MDS. • Start engine and warm up it completely. • Is same DTC present?	Yes	Replace PCM, then go to next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)
3		No	Go to next step.
4	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE • Perform "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE". (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].) • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)
4		No	Troubleshooting completed.
