REAR UPPER ARM REMOVAL/ INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the wheel and tire assembly. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Separate the upper arm from the wheel knuckle.

(1)  Remove the upper arm ball joint nut.

Note

•  It may be necessary to hold the ball joint stud to keep it from turning while removing the nut.

3.  Remove the upper arm.

(1)  Remove the upper arm inner bolt.

(2)  Remove the upper arm.

4.  Remove in the reverse order of removal.
