1.  Using the SST, install the companion flange dust shield.

2.  Install the companion flange. (See TRANSFER CASE REAR OUTPUT SHAFT FLANGE INSTALLATION[LA4AX-EL (CD4E)].)

3.  Inspect the transfer oil level. (See TRANSFER OIL REPLACEMENT[LA4AX-EL (CD4E)].)

Note

•  Add transfer oil to the bottom of the filler hole.
