DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The programmed vehicle data and the data received from the CAN do not correspond.
|

POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• The correct ABS HU/CM is not installed
• PCM CAN data is abnormal (VIN data abnormal)
• Incorrect input of configuration data
|

VERIFY THAT THE CORRECT ABS HU/CM IS INSTALLED
• Verify the part number of the ABS HU/CM.
Is the part number correct?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|

No
|
If an incorrect ABS HU/CM is installed, replace the ABS HU/CM, then go to the next step.
(See ABS HU REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

VERIFY THE ABS HU/CM CONFIGURATION
• Has the ABS HU/CM configuration been performed?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Perform configuration using the M-MDS.
(See ABS CONFIGURATION[L3].)
Go to Step 5.

VERIFY THAT THE PCM HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED
• Has the PCM been replaced?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Go to Step 5.
|

|
VERIFY PCM CONFIGURATION
Has the PCM been configured?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
|
No
|
Perform configuration using the M-MDS.
(See PCM CONFIGURATION[L3].)
Go to the next step.

|
VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
• Clear the DTC from the memory.
(See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS[L3].)
• Is the same DTC present?

Yes
|
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the ABS HU/CM.
(See ABS HU REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
• Are any other DTCs output?
|
Yes
|
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
(See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS[L3].)
|
|
No
|
DTC inspection completed.
