DETECTION CONDITION
•  C1730
―  The power supply voltage for the G-sensor built into the ABS HU/CM is outside the normal range of 4.85—5.15 V
•  C2769
―  The output voltage for the G-sensor built into the ABS HU/CM is 4.5 V or more, or 0.5 V or less
•  C2770
―  G-sensor malfunction detected based on the on-board diagnostic function of the ABS HU/CM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  C1730/C2769
―  ABS HU/CM (G-sensor) internal malfunction
•  C2770
―  ABS HU/CM (G-sensor) internal malfunction, defective installation of ABS HU/CM

Diagnostic Procedure

INSPECTION

ACTION

INSPECT ABS HU/CM FOR INSTALLATION ERROR
•  Is the component installation correct?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the component, then go to the next step.
2
VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
•  Clear the DTC from the memory.
•  Verify that the same DTC is not present
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the ABS HU/CM, then go to the next step.

No
Go to the next step.
3
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
•  Are any other DTCs present?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
(See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS[L3].)
No
DTC inspection completed.
