ABS CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution

•  When replacing the ABS CM, perform configuration before removing the ABS CM. If the configuration is not completed, DTC B2477 will be detected after ABS CM replacement. (L3)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the air cleaner and air hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[L3].) (See AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].) (See AIR HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)

3.  Disconnect the ABS connector.

4.  Remove the bolts.

5.  Remove the bolt.

6.  Lift up the vehicle.

7.  Remove the screws and the ABS CM.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

9.  Configurate the ABS HU/CM (only when replacing it (L3)). (See ABS CONFIGURATION[L3])
