TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS) SENSOR REMOVAL[LA4AX-EL (CD4E)]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Lift up the vehicle.

3.  Remove the front wheel (LH). (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the splash shield.

5.  Place a drain pan under the TSS sensor.

6.  Disconnect the TSS sensor connector.

7.  Remove the bolt.

8.  Remove the TSS sensor.

9.  Inspect the TSS sensor hole.

10.  Inspect the O-ring for cuts or cracks. Install a new O-ring if necessary.
