KEY INTERLOCK SOLENOID INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the steering column upper cover.

3.  Remove the steering column lower cover.

(1)  Remove the screws.

(2)  Remove the steering column lower cover.

4.  Disconnect the ignition switch connector.

5.  Inspect for continuity between ignition switch terminals D and E.

•  If there is no continuity, replace the ignition switch.

6.  Install the steering column lower cover.

(1)  Install the steering column lower cover.

(2)  Install the screws.

7.  Install the steering column upper cover.

8.  Connect the negative battery cable.
