DTC INSPECTION

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then press and hold the A/C switch and OFF switch for 5 s or more within 10 s.

2.  Verify that the LCD screen backlight illuminates and all indicators illuminate for 3 s.

3.  Turn the ignition switch off to finish.

Sensor Check Function

1.  Shine a 60 W incandescent light from a distance of approx. 100 mm vertically to the solar radiation sensor.

Note

•  If incandescent light is not shone to the solar radiation sensor, the climate control unit determines that there is a malfunction.

2.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then press and hold the A/C switch and OFF switch for 5 s or more within 10 s.

3.  Verify if any DTCs are displayed.

•  If the system is normal, DTC "S1.0" is displayed.

•  If there is any malfunction in the system, DTC "S1.0" flashes.

4.  Verify since indicators of the LCD display changes from "S1.0" to "S1.5" whenever it pushes REC switch.

5.  Turn the ignition switch off to finish.

Actuator Operation Check Function

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then press and hold the A/C switch and OFF switch for 5 s or more within 10 s.

2.  Turn the fan switch to ON at once.

Note

•  "88.8" is displayed and the actuator initialization starts. Wait until the initialization is finished.

3.  Verify if any DTCs are displayed.

•  When the actuator initialization is finished correctly, DTC "S2.0" is displayed.

•  If the actuator initialization is not finished correctly, DTC "S2.0" flashes.

Note

•  The climate control unit LCD indicates 88.8 during the initialization operation of the malfunction diagnosis mode. After the initialization operation is completed, the code for each malfunction diagnosis mode is indicated. The initialization operation for the actuator operation check mode continues for a maximum of 72 s.

4.  Verify since indicators of the LCD display changes from "S2.0" to "S2.4" whenever it pushes REC switch.
