Evaporator Assembly Note

•  Installation of a new receiver/drier is not necessary when repairing the air conditioning system except when there is physical evidence of system contamination from a failed A/C component or damage to the receiver/drier.
•  If an evaporator leak is suspected, the evaporator must be leak tested before it is removed from the vehicle. (See EVAPORATOR/CONDENSER INSPECTION.)
•  If the foam seal is damaged during removal install a new seal.
