id081100801600

Warning
•  All seat belt components including seat belt retractors/buckles/anchors, seat belt shoulder height adjusters (if equipped), child seat anchors, and installation hardware should be inspected after any collision. All seat belt components should be replaced unless a qualified technician finds the components show no damage and operate properly. Seat belt components not in use during a collision should also be inspected and replaced if either damage or improper operation is noted.
Note
•  Inspect the seat belt system periodically to verify that they are not damaged and that they operate normally, particularly if they have been subjected to severe impact.
•  Before installing the new seat belts, verify that there is no damage or distortion to the seat belt attachment area. If there is damage or distortion to the attachment area, rework the sheet metal to its original shape and structure.

1.  Follow the appropriate instruction to install the new seat belts. Perform the functional test.
