INSPECT WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH GROUND
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Disconnect the rear washer motor connector.
Press the wiper and washer switch.
Measure the resistance between rear washer motor terminal A and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Go to Step 3.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Disconnect the wiper and washer switch connector.
Measure the resistance between rear washer motor terminal A and wiper and washer switch terminal H.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Replace the wiper and washer switch.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS VOLTAGE
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Measure the voltage at rear washer motor terminal B.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes
|
Replace the rear washer motor.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
