• Malfunction in the ROOM 10 A fuse

• Malfunction in the related wiring harness

• Malfunction in the GEM

INSPECT DTC FOR GEM

Perform the DTC inspection.

Is the DTC displayed?

Yes

Perform the recorded DTCs troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE[GEM].)

No

If the no DTC is displayed, the system is normal.

If communication error is displayed, inspect and repair for following:

•  ROOM 10 A fuse

•  Wiring harness between DLC-2 and GEM

•  Wiring harness between GEM terminal 1B and the battery positive post

If no malfunctioning part detected, replace GEM
