Diagnostic Procedure

STEP

INSPECTION

ACTION

INSPECT INOPERATIVE LIGHT VOLTAGE
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Disconnect the malfunctioning TNS connector.
Turn on the TNS.
Measure the voltage at the inoperative light.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.

INSPECT MALFUNCTIONING TNS GROUND
Disconnect the malfunctioning TNS connector.
Measure the resistance between the inoperative light and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
Replace the light socket.
No
Repair the related wiring harness.
