No

Repair the M-MDS connector. Inspect the system for normal operation.

INSPECT DLC-2 FOR DAMAGE

Turn the ignition switch off.

Inspect the DLS terminal for damage.

Is the terminal normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Repair or replace the DLC-2. Inspect the system for normal operation.

INSPECT M-MDS VOLTAGE

Measure the voltage at DLC-2 terminal D.

Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Repair the circuit. Inspect the system for normal operation.

INSPECT DLC-2 GROUND

Measure the resistance between DLC-2 terminals (H, J) and ground.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes

Repair the M-MDS. Inspect the system for normal operation.

No

Repair the malfunctioning circuit. Inspect the system for normal operation.

3	INSPECT M-MDS VOLTAGE Measure the voltage at DLC-2 terminal D. Is the voltage more than 10 V?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Repair the circuit. Inspect the system for normal operation.
4	INSPECT DLC-2 GROUND Measure the resistance between DLC-2 terminals (H, J) and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?	Yes	Repair the M-MDS. Inspect the system for normal operation.
