INSPECT POWER SUPPLY TO INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

Turn the ignition switch off.

Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Measure the voltage at the following instrument cluster terminals (harness-side).

•  3K

•  1N

•  3O

Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.

INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GROUND CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition switch off.

Measure the resistance between the following instrument cluster terminals (harness-side) and ground.

•  3I

•  3Q

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes

No

Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.

Measure the resistance between the following instrument cluster terminals (harness-side) and ground. • 3I • 3Q Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 2		No	Repair or replace the wiring harness. Inspect the system for normal operation.
