Removal

Note

•  The RH rear seat back (40%) must be removed before the LH rear seat back (60%).

40% split rear seat backrest

1.  Remove the RH rear seat back (40%).

(1)  Remove the bolts and the nuts.

(2)  Remove the back.

1.  Remove the LH rear seat back. (60%)

(1)  Remove the nuts and bolts.

(2)  Remove the back.

Installation

Note

•  The LH rear seat back (60%) must be installed before the RH rear seat back (40%).

60% split rear seat back

Note

•  Do not tighten the nuts and bolts at this time.

1.  Install the LH rear seat back (60%).

(1)  Install the rear seat back.

(2)  Install the nuts and bolts.

1.  Install the RH rear seat back (40%).

(1)  Install the rear seat back.

(2)  Install the nuts and bolts.

Note

•  Do not tighten the nuts and bolts at this time.

60/40% rear seat back

1.  Tighten the 60/40% rear seat back nuts and bolts in the sequence shown in the figure.

1.  Tighten the RH rear seat back (40%) nuts and bolts in the sequence shown in the figure.
