REAR GLASS LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Removal

Note

•  Verify that the rear glass is completely closed.

1.  Remove the liftgate trim.

2.  Disconnect the rear glass latch.

(1)  Disconnect the rear glass latch connector.

(2)  Open the clip and disconnect the rod.

3.  Remove the rear glass latch.

(1)  Remove the bolts.

Note

•  Mark the position of the rear glass latch prior to removing the bolts.

(2)  Remove the latch.

Installation

1.  Position the rear glass latch and temporarily tighten the bolts.

2.  Adjust the rear glass latch.

(1)  Set the rear glass flushness to 1.5 mm {0.06 in} under flush with the liftgate.

3.  Tighten the rear glass latch bolts.

4.  Connect the rear glass latch.

(1)  Connect the rear glass latch switch connector.

(2)  Connect the rod and close the clip.

5.  Install the liftgate trim.
