• Halogen headlight bulb holds high pressure gas. If the glass surface is damaged or the bulb is dropped, it could break into pieces. Be very careful when servicing the bulb. Always hold the base part and avoid touching the the glass. Failure to follow this procedure could result in injury.

Caution

• Do not remove the headlight bulb from the headlight until installing the new bulb. Headlight function may be negatively affected if the bulb is removed for a long period. Foreign material will enter the headlight and could adhere to the lens or reflector. Do not turn the headlight on with the bulb removed.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Caution
-
• A halogen bulb generates extremely high heat when it is used. If the surface of the bulb is soiled, excessive heat will build up and the bulb life will be shortened. When replacing the bulb, hold the metal flange, not the glass.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Release the bulb seating wire to remove the headlight bulb.
